“Multiple primary neoplasms, a common clinical entity, can be classified as synchronous or metachronous. Renal cell carcinoma, in particular, is associated with a high rate of multiple primary neoplasms.

We report a case of a 67-year-old Caucasian woman, who was admitted with history of bleeding per rectum. We conducted a literature review of metachronous and synchronous multiple primary neoplasms.

Colonoscopy revealed a 3 cm tumour in the caecum and a small sigmoid tubulovillous polyp.

Staging computed tomography showed a non-enhancing mass in the upper pole of the right kidney. Following ATM/ATR 抑制�?review a radical nephrectomy/right hemicolectomy, microscopy demonstrated a renal cell carcinoma. Follow-up colonoscopy visualised a mucosal irregularity at the site of the previous sigmoid polyp, with biopsies confirming invasive adenocarcinoma.

“Electron emission spectra resulting from thermal collision of He*(2(3)S) atoms with 2,9-demethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (BCP) films deposited on metal substrates were measured to characterize gap states emerged at the organic-metal interface. For BCP on Au, the gap state is originated from weak chemisorption and serves as a mediator of metal wave functions to the first layer. For BCP on K, organic-metal complex is formed by spontaneous diffusion, yielding the gap states delocalized over the film. In the interfacial region, all the gap state reveals an incommensurate shift with the valence band top of the film, indicating the breakdown of the Schottky-Mott model as evaluating the transport characteristics in organic-metal system.
