“Companies developing and commercializing Healthcare IT applications may decide to involve the users in the software development lifecycle in order to better understand the users’ needs and to optimize their products. Unfortunately direct developers-users dialogues are not sufficient to ensure a proper understanding of the users’ needs. It is

also necessary to involve human factors specialists to analyze the users’ expression of their needs and to properly formalize the requirements for design purposes. The objective of this paper is to present a case study reporting the collaborative work between HF experts and a company developing and commercializing a CPOE. “Nosocomial infections with meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) lead to increased health and economic costs. The purpose of this study was to determine costs for nosocomial MRSA pneumonia compared with meticillin-susceptible S. aureus (MSSA) pneumonia. A case-control study was conducted with patients who acquired nosocomial pneumonia with either MRSA or MSSA between January 2005 and December 2007. Patients were matched for age, severity of underlying disease, stay on intensive care units and non-intensive care units, admission and discharge within the same year, and in-hospital stay at least as long as that of cases before MRSA pneumonia. of epilepsy management at the primary health level. Putative causes of death were recorded for those who died, according to the International Classification of Diseases. The risk of premature death was 2.9 times greater in people with epilepsy than in the general population. A much higher risk (SMRs 2837) was found in young people. Their absence in apomictic Hieracium aurantiacum suggests that meiotic avoidance may have evolved independently in aposporous subgenus Pilosella species.
